"You Say You Want a Revolution"

We went on a fieldtrip guided by The York County Heritage Trust. The focus was the colonial/Revolutionary War era. We toured a period home, tavern and working grist mill. The kids participated in a re-enactment of the trial of Rev. Batwell, a loyalist.

Katie is 14!

Katie wanted a patriotic looking strawberry shortcake for her birthday cake (she's been taking a govrnment class this year), and she wanted Chic-fil-a for her birthday dinner.

Happy Easter!

Dave was in the drama "Pilate on the Beach" at church, it was a great service. After church we came home and had an Easter egg scavenger hunt. Each egg was filled with a clue that led to another clue filled egg until the last one finally led to their Easter treats. Then we went to the Jackson's for a BBQ and had a great time.
