Fun in the Sun!

It's a beautiful, sunny day and we're making the most of it!

We went strawberry picking down the road at Brown's then came home to cool off and enjoy the fruits (literally) of our labor!

Youth Field Day

We went to the Littlestown Fish and Game Club for Youth Field Day.

The kids learned how to tie fies,

tried to catch a fish,

shot at targets with a bow,

Learned about native snakes,

made turkey calls and learned about trapping and calling predators,

shot BB Guns at paper targets,

used shotguns to shoot skeet,

and 22 rifles to shoot at targets.

The kids had a lot of fun and there was a lot of great information about fish and game in PA.

Memorial Day Service Project

We went to the Mt. Rose cemetary to put flags on the graves of our veterans.

Civil War Comes to York

We went on a second fieldtrip to The York County Heritage Trust, this time they focused on the Civil War era. We toured the Bonham House and took a walking tour to see the downtown historical buildings and murals.
