Crazy Weather

We went to the pool after hitting some yard sales with the Farris' Friday. It was hot and sunny, then it was stormy with thunder and lightening and hail (for about 20 minutes), then it was hot and sunny again. We barbequed hot dogs for lunch and just had a fun, relaxing summer day!

 

How Katie's Garden Grows

We've been enjoying a good crop of lettuce (we love a good salad around here) and now the green onions are ready, these are going into the tuna salad we're making for lunch.

Strawberries, Blueberries and Cherries Oh My

I love being home...
Katie and I took advantage of the cool morning and set out early to pick berries before it started to rain.

When we got home I sprinkled some brown sugar and pepper on some bacon and popped it in the oven and 45 minutes later we had a yummy brunch of sunny-side-up eggs, buttery toast, brown sugar bacon and fresh fruit.
